Calling all Hampshire Explorers and Network groups - are you looking for more adventure, or just want to challenge yourself?
HSX are hosting the annual Adventure Race - an orienteering challenge, based at Ferny Crofts.
There are different classes for teams of all experience levels.
When: Saturday 10th December, 9:30am
Where: Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre, New Forest
Who: Explorer and Network Scouts over the age of 14, teams of 2-3 people.
For individuals, teams can be made up on the day.
What: An orienteering challenge, based at Ferny Crofts
Equipment: You will need to come prepared to run/walk around the course (10km, 2/3 hours). It may be wet and cold, so please bring a change of clothes, towel, waterproofs, warm clothes, rucksack, food and drink and appropriate footwear.
Cost: £5pp

Who are HSX? Hampshire Scout Expeditions (HSX) is a county-based organisation specialising in youth development through mountainous activities and international expeditions. Throughout the year we run numerous training weekends throughout the UK to adventurous locations such as the Breacon Beacons, Lake District, Snowdonia and the Cairngorms. We also have a track record of leading international expeditions to all corners of the globe, running trips places such as Nepal, Peru, Patagonia, Belize and Cambodia, as well as placing members on the summit of Mount Everest and the South Pole!
